Sarah's trip to Alaska has been full of exploration, great memories, and even a bit of whale-watching fun! 🐳

"Yesterday will go down as one of my favorite days ever. We started out seeing a glacier at 6:15 AM. The caption did a great job getting us pretty close. Then, we were in Juneau. I splurged on a whale watching cruise on a yacht with just 6 other passengers. The scenery was spectacular and it rained a bit, but it was a perfect day."

Exciting news!! Sarah will soon perform at the Robertson County Historical Society's "An Evening in Elmwood" event on May 30th at 5:30 PM in Elmwood Cemetery!

She will be portraying Mary Hutcheson. View the character description below, and be sure to check out the incredible artistic interpretation of Sarah as Mary, sketched by Jay Swafford!

"Robertson County history, especially in time of war, is oftentimes touched with tragedy. Especially in the case of Mary Hutcheson, whose three sons joined the Confederacy during the beginning of the Civil War.

Off they rode together with flags flying and a band playing, but only one son came home from the war. The surviving and oldest son told his mother he would go and retrieve his brother's bodies and bring them home for a proper burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mary begged him not to go, knowing it would be an arduous journey through a land now laid waste by the war and inhabited by criminals. However, as promised, he did come home to Mary with his brother's bodies. Though her heart was broken, Mary now rests peacefully and eternally with all of her sons in Elmwood Cemetery."

"Our first stop was Ketchikan. We were told that even if the forecast said sunny, expect rain. Well, the forecast was right. We had the most perfect day in this colorful, sweet town. It's one of those places I would like to go back and spend more time."

Today we're revealing the second show you'll see at our Summer Dinner Theatre event!

Both shows, "Here We Are" by Dorothy Parker and "I'm Herbert" by Robert Anderson, will be performed both nights of the event - so you'll get the full experience no matter which night you attend!

Read below for info on "I'm Herbert" by Robert Anderson!

I'm Herbert is a sketch about two old, old people sitting on a porch in a pair of rocking chairs and talking. Just talking... and of course they don’t know how funny they are. Each has had one or more previous marriages and perhaps a few flings, but they are hazy as to details. In fact, they don't always know which one the other one is.

Tickets will go on sale soon for our Summer Dinner Theatre, so keep an eye on our social media for updates! 🎭

Our first of two featured shows is "Here We Are" by Dorothy Parker!

Check out the show details below:

Here We Are: A couple is less than three hours married and on a train to New York City to celebrate their honeymoon. We received the kindest shoutout from our friends at Head Peach Co. ❤️

"He might kill me for this, but Mr. Tom at has been my biggest mentor and friend these past 5 years. I often say that without him, I don’t think I would be where I am now. From endless questions to hands-on help, he’s always shown up.

Here’s the thing - he didn’t have to though. He has a peach orchard. His orchard is 10 miles from mine. He could have easily looked at me as a competitor. He could have decided to “wish me luck” and move on. Instead, he is the first to give me advice or put me in contact with someone new. He calls to check in. He always makes time.

❤️That’s just who Tom is. And this is what makes Agriculture so special - farmers helping other farmers. ❤️🍑☺️"
