🐾 A Little Pawsitive Update from Desert Paws Cat Café! 🐱🍦

We know, we know… the suspense is claw-ful! 😹

Our opening is taking a little longer than we hoped (turns out permits don't move quite as fast as excited kittens 🐾), but we have some exciting news!

🔨 Construction is getting SO close to being finished! We're hoping to wrap things up by the end of this week or next!

We're still working through the permitting process before we can officially welcome everyone, but we're getting closer every day!

In the meantime, we are prepping our first yogurt menu and in the hiring process so we can open quickly after permits!

Thank you for being patient with us! We can't wait to bring some kitty cuddles and frozen yogurt to Alamogordo! 🐈🍦

Stay pawsitive… we're almost there! 🐾💕

🐾🍦 OPENING UPDATE! 🍦🐾

We know so many of you have been asking, “When are you opening?!” - and trust us, we are just as ready to open those doors as you are! 💕

We wanted to share a quick update with our community. As we’ve worked through the final permitting process, we learned that some additional contracted work will be required before we can receive our final approvals. Unfortunately, this work will take a little extra time to get scheduled and completed.

Because of that, our opening is being pushed back a bit, and we are now hoping to welcome everyone to Desert Paws Cat Cafe sometime in mid-to-late October. 🤞🐾

While we’re a little disappointed about the delay, we want to make sure everything is done correctly, safely, and ready for both our guests AND our future feline residents. 🐱💗 We’ll keep everyone updated as the work progresses and will announce our official opening date as soon as we have it!!

🐾 Hiring Update! 🐾

We’ve had quite a few people asking about employment opportunities at Desert Paws, so we wanted to share a quick update!

If you’ve already sent us your resume, we haven’t forgotten about you! We have two part-time positions to fill and will begin scheduling interviews over the next few weeks. 💕 We’ll be going through the resumes we’ve received very soon and reaching out to selected applicants to schedule interviews.

Thank you so much for your patience and for your interest in being part of Desert Paws! 🐱🍦 We’re excited to start building our team!

🐾 We’re Almost Ready, Alamogordo! 🍦🐱

The countdown is officially on! We are putting the finishing touches on our Cat Café and are currently waiting on final permitting and just a few last items before we can officially open our doors!

We are shooting for an October 1st opening! 🎉

There are still a few final pieces that need to fall into place, so stay tuned - more details and an official opening announcement will be coming soon!

We are also excited to share that we have partnered with Kitty City to help connect adoptable cats with loving forever homes!

Here’s a little peek at what’s waiting for you:

👉Three frozen yogurt machines with delicious flavors and plenty of toppings

👉Refreshing drinks

👉A cozy cat lounge where you can spend time with adoptable cats

👉Opportunities to meet cats looking for their forever homes through our partnership with Kitty City

👉A fun, comfortable space to relax with friends and family

We’ve put so much love into creating a space that is more than just a sweet treat! We want it to be a place our community can enjoy while also helping local cats find loving homes.

Thank you, Alamogordo, for all of the excitement and support you’ve already shown us. We are so close and cannot wait to welcome you inside!

🐱 + 🍦 = a pretty great combination, if you ask us. 😉

October 1st is the goal - more to follow! 🐾
