🚨We’re tapping something a little ridiculous at 5 PM… a sour ale cask-conditioned on all the pink ones. Yep, the little pink Starburst candies everyone picks out first. 😋💖

🚨Good afternoon, friends.

⛈️What a night. First and foremost, we hope everyone made it through the storms safely. We know many people across the area are dealing with damage, cleanup, and power outages today, and our thoughts are with all of you.🙏

The brewery sustained some wind damage to the patio, flooding, and we are now going on 12 hours without power.

The good news is that we have a generator keeping the important stuff running, including the beer. 🍻 Thank goodness for that.

Unfortunately, with the continued power outage and cleanup still underway, we will not be able to open today. We hate to miss a Sunday with all of you, but right now our focus is getting everything cleaned up and back to normal.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We made it! Today is the exact day Beard Engine Brewing officially opened its doors SIX years ago, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than kicking off our anniversary weekend with all of you.

As a reminder, thanks to Missouri doing Missouri things and throwing some questionable weather at us tomorrow, we've split Saturday's FIRKIN Fest into TWO Mini FIRKIN Fests—one today and one tomorrow. Same amazing lineup both days, with 65 glasses available each day.

FIRKIN FEST UPDATE 🚨
Friends, we've been watching the weather closely, and Saturday's forecast isn't looking great. Rather than trying to cram 130+ people into the taproom, we've decided to split Firkin Fest into TWO MINI FIRKIN FESTS — one on Friday and one on Saturday.
The lineup will be identical both days.
⚠️ ONE GLASS PER PERSON ⚠️
We'll have 65 glasses available Friday and 65 glasses available Saturday. If you purchase a glass on Friday, please leave some for our Saturday friends.
Each commemorative glass is your ticket to: 🍺 Six 9-ounce firkin pours 🍺 One pour from each featured firkin
If you have a glass, you're guaranteed all six pours.

UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨 The decision has been made! We are officially having 2 mini Firkin Fests 🍻 !! That means each day will have an identical firkin line up ❤️ We are just splitting the glasses up in half. 65 glasses available Friday and 65 on Saturday!! Please don't worry we have 2 of each firkin so enough for both days!!

🚨Okay friends, hear us out. 🌧️🍻

📍With the current forecast calling for some pretty gnarly thunderstorms on Saturday, we're discussing a possible adjustment to Firkin Fest to help keep everyone comfortable and spread out indoors if Mother Nature decides not to cooperate.

✅Our plan would be to split Firkin Fest between Friday and Saturday:
🍺 65 commemorative glasses which includes your 6- 9 ounce pours available Friday starting at 5pm

🍺 65 commemorative glasses which includes your 6- 9 ounce pours available Saturday starting at 12pm

This would allow all 130 glasses and all 130 firkin packages to still be available while helping with crowd size if we lose our outdoor space due to weather.

As much as events like this make us wish for a bigger indoor space, we're incredibly thankful for all of you and your continued support. ❤️ Thank you for rolling with punches !
