POV: You’re living out your South of France dreams in St. Tropez, where beach club lunches turn into all-day affairs. 🇫🇷🍷

From iconic beach spots to endless market strolls, St. Tropez is as delicious as it is chic:

📍 Le Club 55: An absolute bucket-list spot! The vibe is unmatched, and the seafood is incredible, sweet mussels in a buttery herb broth, room-temp peel-and-eat artichoke with aioli, and a €42 “single prawn” that turned out to be the size of a lobster. Paired with Dover Sole and copious bottles of rosé, of course.

🍷 Château des Marres: Took a break from the coast for a beautiful w**e tasting at this local vineyard.

🍕 Pastas & Pizzas: Endless slices and bowls loaded with Gambas shrimp, Parma ham, pesto, and those sweet French tomatoes.

🛍️ Saint-Tropez Street Market: Truly unreal. We stocked up on olives, cheeses, cured meats, lavender satchels, and linen button-downs. Walking off all those pasta and pizza calories while shopping? Pure girl math. 💅🏼

🍔 The Final Bites: Because you can’t leave without a late-night epic cheeseburger, local b**r, and a crisp Basil Smash cocktail!

POV: You’re eating your way through Cannes, and simplicity is the ultimate luxury. 🇫🇷✨

The South of France truly hits different when it comes to food. Here are 6 unforgettable bites (and sips) from Cannes you cannot miss:

1. Fresh Local Figs: Who knew the South of France produced figs this luscious? Simple, sweet, and perfectly in season.

2. Sea Breeze at The Carlton: Grapefruit, vodka, and a terrace view straight out of French Kiss. The ultimate refreshing cocktail on a sunny afternoon.

3. The “French Burrito”: A warm crepe stuffed with tender pulled chicken, fresh herbs, and incredible savory sauces. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever tasted!

4. A Classic French Omelette: Delicate, buttery, velvety, and loaded with fresh herbs and cheese. It proves that simple ingredients done right are pure perfection.

5. Thick Chocolat Chaud: Rich, molten chocolate served in an espresso cup, decadent in every single sip.

6. Cucumber & Mint Poolside Drinks: Crisp, cool, and exact luxury on a hot afternoon by the pool.

The Highlight: The tomatoes here are unreal. They were so naturally sweet we asked if they added sugar when cooking them down! The kitchen even sent us home with a care package of tomatoes, which we sliced onto fresh baguette with a glass of rosé at our next stop. 🥖🍷

My lactose sensitivity has definitely gotten worse as I’ve gotten older 😅 Milk and cream are my absolute worst enemies, even though I can somehow still handle cheese (thank goodness!).

A slow Saturday morning with a yummy bagel sandwich ft. Guy Fieri's yummy Flavortown Chipotle Sauce for an extra kick! I used Food Lion's mini bagels for this and they are delicious! What are you cooking up this morning? ☀️

Two years ago today, I married my soulmate, honey bunny, watermelon, pie, a man I know was put on this earth just for me. 💛
After returning home and feeling inspired by France, I tried my hand at a French omelette today, filled with French red pepper spread from a local Aix vineyard and French herb cheese. What happened? Well: too many eggs, too small of a pan, and not enough butter. Egg flipped everywhere, but in the end, it still tasted delicious! Definitely not as light, fluffy, and buttery as France, but that’s real life for you as a home cook. (Please don’t look at the messy burner and stove! Haha.)
Now we’re enjoying our favorite weekend ritual,
breakfast in bed, with a spread that represents our worldwide relationship:
German pretzel pastries 🥨
Italian lemonade & espresso 🍋☕
Our “French”-inspired omelette 🍳
And, of course, my local Virginia tea! 🫖
I’m so lucky in love. Happy anniversary, my love! 🥂✨
