Featured this week one of our Peacocks Darla (he's not ashamed of his name!). Darla is a beautiful Indian Blue Black Shoulder Peacock, he's coming up on 4 years old so his train still has 2 more years of growing to do.

Peacocks molt once a year, and it takes about 6 months for their trains to dully regrow. Molting signals the end of mating season for peafowl.

We have 3 adult peafowl on our farm, Darla a black shoulder male, Buckwheat an indian blue male, and Alfalfa a purple female.

Over the weekend our youngest Boston Terrier had to have emergency surgery.

Thankfully she is on the road to recovery, however we were hit with a very hefty vet bill.

We are gearing up to make our pickle dust available at the stand.

This week we have a selection of house plants available for purchase. Prices range from $1-$3.

Featured bird: Mac Daddy! Mac Daddy is our newest addition. Coming in about 34" tall he's an African goose. Who's taking his name very seriously, by adopting the goslings and showing them how to goose.
