Okay, one more cuteness overload! 🥹🐮🤎

Mr. Jack has found his sea legs! With a little guidance, he stood up and drank half a gallon of colostrum. We’re already completely in love with this little guy! 😍

All the other calves are excited to have another friend. In about three months, he’ll join the “daycare” pen, where he’ll keep growing big and strong. 🐄🍼

Our babies don’t head out to pasture until their first birthday. Until then, I like to keep a close eye on them to make sure they’re eating their grain and growing well.

For now, Mr. Jack’s schedule is pretty simple: eat, sleep, wobble around, and steal our hearts! 😂🤎

🏡 Farm store update!

The electrical is in, the walls are being framed, and foam insulation is going in next Monday! Every step brings us a little closer to opening, and we’re getting so excited! 🤎

I can’t wait for y’all to enjoy fresh baked goods from Marsh Family Homestead, local beef and pork, candles, wire crafts, and so many other amazing things from talented local makers.

We’re building a place where our community can shop local and support one another. Thank y’all for cheering us on as this little dream comes together—one board at a time! 🐄🛠️

Morning chores are complete! 🐄☀️ We were only 15 minutes late this morning, and oh, did the girls notice! 😂

Dairy cows love their routine, and apparently, sleeping in was NOT on their schedule. They had a few complaints for management! 🤣🥛

Everyone is milked, fed, and happy now. Just another morning at No. 2 Farms! 💚

We’ve welcomed so many new followers lately, so let’s introduce the Hayes family! 💚

My name is Sara, and my husband is Eli. We have 13 kids and one beautiful grandbaby, Bailey! Most of our children are grown and out on their own, but there’s always plenty happening around here. 😂

Together, we own No. 2 Farms, home to our tested and confirmed A2/A2 Jersey herd. Our girls are registered through the Jersey Association—or, as we like to call them, our “bougie cows.” 🐄👑

We milk at 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Each cow gets 20 pounds of grain a day, split between milkings, and grazes on 15 acres of grass in between. They also have free-choice access to a molasses protein lick, minerals, and salt. The molasses is their favorite—it’s practically cow candy!

Every girl knows her name and sees a vet every six months or whenever needed. We don’t use antibiotics and work to keep our care as holistic as possible. Trust me, these girls are spoiled! ❤️

We have an open-door policy and love welcoming visitors. Just give us a heads-up so we can be ready for you!

In this video, you’ll see Loretta coming up to be milked… on Loretta’s schedule, of course. 😂 She isn’t hurrying for anyone! She’s such a gentle sweetheart and wouldn’t hurt a soul. She’s extra special to me because she was my wedding gift, coming all the way from Boyd Lee Jersey in Tennessee. 🥰
