Happy September 🌻🍂 I’m stuck between not wanting summer to end and being excited for fall to start! This sunflower cookie stamp feels perfect for this time of year when so many flowers are still blooming but the mornings have a bite to them. I’d recommend adding some melted chocolate and flakey sea salt to the bottoms of these for the perfect bite 🫶🏼

Cinnamon Brown Sugar Cookie Recipe 🤎🍄‍🟫🍁🧸

Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
- cinnamon sugar mix for rolling cookie dough balls in
- Fun Food Tools cookie stamps, obviously!

Directions:
Mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together in a large bowl. Add in egg yolk, milk, honey, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, salt, and spices. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Divide cookie dough into balls (I made 12 cookies with this recipe). Roll the cookie dough balls in the cinnamon sugar. Dip your cookie stamp into loose flour. The sugar and flour create a barrier to ensure your cookie stamp doesn’t stick. Press down firmly until you can see the edges of the cookie peeking out around the stamp. I like my sugar cookies to be thicker so they were still quite thick even after stamping. After stamping your cookies, chill them in the freezer before baking. Preheat the oven to 350 and bake for 12 minutes until the edges are set. The middle will still be soft and slightly underdone. If you wait for them to look fully done, they’ll be a bit dry. Let cool and enjoy!

Cookie stamps make it so easy to create beautiful, intricate cookies with no advanced decorating skills required or extra ingredients! These are the perfect fall cookies. Have you ever tried cookie stamping?

Save these tips for the next time you cookie stamp:
- Chill your dough, you want it to be cool but not dry
- Dip your stamp in loose flour between each stamp
- Roll dough in granulated sugar to prevent sticking (I used cinnamon sugar for these!)
- Rock the stamp gently to release the design
- Use a round cutter for perfectly shaped cookies
