Wise Acre Farm Wise Acre Farm is located in Arbuckle, California. We grow a variety of produce and raise free-range hens for egg production.

We sell our products through our year 'round farm stand and we donate our extra produce to local food distribution entities.

Our Venmo is back up and running! 👏(Under a different name now). Thanks for everyone’s patience. This has been quite a hassle. Story below if you’re interested.

Be careful online! We got scammed on Facebook trying to purchase a trailer from someone we knew but what we didn’t know is that their identity had been stolen by a scammer. We paid them a down payment for the trailer through Venmo. Quickly realized it was a scam and I shut down our attached bank account and called Venmo to try to cancel the payment. Venmo still payed the person 2 days AFTER I alerted them. I didn’t have the full amount in my Venmo account but they still got a couple hundred $$.

Venmo shut my account down and will not reopen it until I pay them the balance of what they paid the scammer. They have been ridiculously unhelpful through this ordeal.

The person whose identity was stolen is going through so much worse, a complete nightmare. Lesson learned - be careful online!!

This week we lost our Tiny guy. He had been suffering from seizures over the past couple of years. The seizures were becoming more frequent and they were taking a toll on his well-being. He was humanely euthanized and it was the right thing to do, but these things are never easy.

Tiny was the first goat born here on the farm. He was premature, weighing in at 1.5 lbs. Without help from our amazing veterinarian at the time, Anita Varga, he would not have survived the night. He lived in our house for his first couple of months until he was strong enough to go outside with the herd.

Tiny was one-of-a-kind, with the most striking blue eyes. He had 7 good years with us and we are missing him very much.

Thanks to the kind vets at Kokopelli for gently and kindly sending Tiny over the rainbow bridge.
