“Failure is absolutely part of the process. First, it's necessary to understand you need to cherish the wins because you lose much more than you win. But the failure is part of the process to understand and analyze. You learn much more in the failure than in the success because you analyze much more. When you win you just say, 'It was great, this was great' and you move on. But when you don't win and you fail, you go much deeper into why.”
~Olympic show jumper Rodrigo Pessoa on handling disappointment

In our latest episode of the Practical Horseman Podcast, sponsored by Farnam Horse and Tribute Equine Nutrition, Pessoa talks about talks about his training philosophy, what makes a good horseperson, his thoughts on how jumping has changed over the years, and more.
