linktr.ee/fortgeorgebrewery The oldest US settlement west of the Rockies, Fort Astoria was the Pacific Fur Company's primary trading post in the Northwest. Under temporary British authority during the Wa

r of 1812, it was renamed "Fort George" after King George III. In 1924, the current Fort George Building was erected to house an automotive repair shop. Abandoned and neglected in the early 90s, the Fort George Building was revitalized in 2007 as a home to Blue Scorcher Bakery and the original brewpub. Fort George purchased the neighboring Lovell Building in 2010, which now houses the Lovell Taproom and a larger brew system. An upstairs pizzeria was added to the Fort George Building in 2013. Fort George has been thankful to grow with the community around the Lower Columbia River.

Astoria might not technically be an island, but it sure can feel like an island sometimes. Not the lonely, isolated John Donne sort of island (that no man is), but a cheerful, welcoming, community-rich island. Weโ€™re surrounded by water on three sides, diverse and ecologically unique, with our own culture and customs. Astoria Island is especially easy to visit, too. Wherever you are, youโ€™re just one pint away.

Lower Columbia Lager is a light, crisp, standard lager with a tiny, satisfying hint of sweetness. Making its return to the Pubs this Saturday and throughout the PNW soon after.

Summer wonโ€™t last forever, but the sweet, tangy tangerine flavor of an Endless Tangerine stands a pretty good chance.

This beer was designed and brewed by Jordyn. In the quest for a light, highly crushable summer beer, Jordyn was inspired by Tangerine Wheat and all those fruit-soaked, citrusy wheats that came before.

Endless Tangerine, a small-batch Tangerine Blonde Ale from our Sweet Virginia Brewery, releases on draft only at the Pubs this Friday.
