💔 Big Run Kava is up for sale.
I have to be honest — this one makes me really sad. My partnership with Shaylee and her family has been absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful for everything we’ve built together. ❤️
Right now, we don’t know exactly what this means for Happy Snacking Market. What I do know is that we’ll remain open and continue operating as long as Shaylee and the family are there. I’m really hoping that whoever takes over Big Run Kava will see the value in what we’ve created and keep Happy Snacking Market as part of the space.
But if that doesn’t happen, I’d love to hear from anyone who might be interested in becoming a new home for Happy Snacking Market. Even if you’re not looking to host a full market, an alternative pickup location for our snack boxes could be a huge help. Please reach out! 🥰
And I also want to make one thing very clear: Happy Snacking Market has been a success these last couple of months, and that success has absolutely nothing to do with Shaylee’s decision to sell. We’ve had an incredible response from our community, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
For now, we’re taking things one step at a time. I’m incredibly thankful to Shaylee and her family, and I’m hopeful that somehow we’ll be able to keep this little partnership going. ❤️

This is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. 🤦♀️🥺
After everything we’ve poured into Big Run Kava Bar, it’s time for me to open the door for someone else to take this little dream and make it their own.
Big Run Kava Bar isn’t just a business to me. It’s the place where I poured my heart, my creativity, my time, and so much of my energy. It’s where I’ve met some of the most incredible people, built friendships, created memories, and watched this little space become part of the Athens community.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built here — from the renovations and the menu to the partnerships, events, late nights, and all the people who have walked through our doors.
Big Run Kava Bar is officially for sale.
This is a turnkey opportunity for someone who has dreamed about owning their own coffee shop, café, or social space. The space is fully furnished, equipped, recently renovated, and comes with commercial equipment, recipes, supplier/partner connections, and so much more.
I truly hope the right person comes along and sees the same potential I saw when I first walked through those doors.
In the mean time WE ARE STILL OPEN.
