As we put the finishing touches on our sale catalog, we thought we would share a picture of the cow behind Lot 1, FAR Lady Coquette 9231.

9231 is one of the deepest-bodied, easiest-fleshing cows we own. We appreciate her ability to maintain her condition year-round while raising a whopper of a calf year after year, and she does it all with a beautiful udder.

9231 also holds a special place in our herd. Her dam was the first cow we purchased when we entered the registered Angus business, making this cow family a part of Fuller Angus Ranch from the very beginning.

We look forward to introducing Lot 1 and the rest of the offering when the catalog is released within the next couple of weeks.

6520, who weaned at 827 pounds, carries a 13.55% inbreeding coefficient, stacking Resource x Resource through a mating anchored by SAV Blackcap May 4520, the full sister to SAV Regard.

When you see this bull calf in person, you appreciate just how much muscle, power, and bone he possesses, traits he has displayed from an early age. Even more impressive is how freely and athletically he moves. It is extremely rare to find this much power in a bull that can cover ground so effortlessly.

We are also blessed to have three flush sisters that we plan to wean in October. We believe they are every bit as special as 6520, with additional embryos from this mating still in the tank.

FAR Keen 6521 is one of two flush brothers out of SAV Blackcap May 4520, the flush sister to SAV Regard. He went from an 87 lb. birth weight to a 745 lb. weaning weight (no creep feed) and continues to develop into the kind of practical, complete bull calf we hoped this mating would produce.

His three-generation pedigree combines the influence of SAV Blackcap May 5530, SAV May 7238, SAV Blackcap May 4136, Coleman Donna 4356, and Coleman Donna 714. Proven cows stacked throughout a pedigree.

It is still early, but we believe 6521 has a bright future and expect him to be a highlight of our 2027 bull sale.
