1 of the 9 original flush sisters out of the foundational mating of 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝟕𝟎𝟕𝟓 𝐱 𝐒𝐀𝐕 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐚 𝟓𝟑𝟖𝟑 (Traveler 004 x SAV Elba 1094), 3514 was flawlessly designed at SAV to be exactly what a cornerstone female should be—𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. The kind you build an entire program around.
Phenotypically, even at 13 years of age, 3514 is a cow that leaves you flabbergasted at just how good she is. She stands on a perfect foot, and when studied from behind, offers tremendous 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞—a true easy-keeping kind with a foot of rib and belly on each side, and as docile as they come.
But what's even more impressive is when it comes time to 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐟.
Before entering the donor program, 3514 recorded a 𝟏𝟎𝟒 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝟖 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬. She is the kind of cow we all admire—and the kind that keeps a ranch profitable. Always knowing where her calf is… bedding on the right side in the winter to block the wind… and consistently bringing a calf in at the top when it matters most—𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
With 𝟒𝟎+ 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 in 2026 between our program and customers, her story is far from finished. At 13, the next chapter may very well be her best yet. Lord willing, we expect a strong set of 𝐒𝐀𝐕 𝐍𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 to be roaming our pastures come spring.
