Cape Cod Organic Farm Cape Cod Organic Farm is a Certified Organic Farm located along Historic Route 6A in Barnstable Village on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

We specialize in growing organic fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, herbs, and native grasses used in land restoration.

Last week, Lily-Rose had the honor of welcoming a group of Girl Scouts to the farm! 🌱🌼

We spent the day touring the farm and making flower garlands. Then traded flowers for potatoes and got our hands in the dirt. 🥔

One of our biggest hopes behind days like this is to show young girls that farming is something they can do, too. Being a woman in farming, especially here on Cape Cod, is absolutely possible. 💪🏼

And even if farming isn’t in their future, we hope they leave knowing a little more about where their food comes from and that getting your hands dirty can be pretty fun.

🍂 A LITTLE FALL UPDATE FROM THE FARM 🍂

🎃The squash are squashing. We’ve got — Butternut, Butter Baby, Honeynut, Delicata & Acorn coming in hot.

🍅 Tomato seconds are HALF PRICE!
They may be a little ugly, but they’re still saucy. Perfect for making sauce, salsa, soup… anything where nobody cares what the tomato looked like before it got cooked.

🌻 And sadly, our sunflowers are starting to wind down. We’re enjoying the last of the blooms while they’re still showing off, you should too.💛

🌱 Volunteer Spotlight 🌱

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, Jackie and Carol, for spending their Thursdays with us on the farm! Their hard work has helped plant and w**d our sweet potato field, harvest lettuce and Swiss chard, and make a meaningful impact on our farm.

This year, we’re growing an entire field of sweet potatoes for local food banks, and volunteers like Jackie and Carol are helping make it possible. 🫶

Interested in volunteering? We’d love to have you! Join us Thursdays from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM (for as much or as little time as you’d like). Reach out to Andrea, who coordinates volunteers for our farm and other Barnstable-area farms growing produce for local food banks.
