River Road Coffees' owner, Ian Melancon (see him in the blue hat), was proud to be a part of the Hero Hump in Baton Rouge today. Give him a big "Oorah" for rucking the 6 miles to the state capitol with other military vets to deliver Memorial Day Flags.

What is Hero Hump?

HERO HUMP is a 6-Mile Memorial Ruck March, carrying over 11,000 flags representing Louisiana’s fallen heroes from the Revolutionary War to present day. The flags will be delivered to The Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana (Chapter 1) as they prepare the Memorial Day Garden of Flags at the Louisiana State Capitol Gardens.
