Redwood Roots Farm Redwood Roots Farm Cooperative is a diverse CSA and market garden that has been providing the community with fresh vegetables, flowers, and herbs since 1998.

We are situated in the beautiful Jacoby Creek Valley in Bayside, near Arcata, California.

Volunteer at the farm this Friday, Aug 21st 1-4pm!

Come on by and get your hands dirty and check out the farm. We have all the tools and gloves you’ll need, but feel free to bring your own if you like.

Volunteers will be sent home with veg and flowers and starts!

Be sure to park at the Unitarian Fellowship, bring weather protection, long sleeves and closed toed shoes even if it’s sunny (we have pokey weeds!), water and snacks! Please bring your friends and leave dogs at home!

There may be some tunes from Cory Goldman in the flower garden to keep us motivated and grooving! 🎵 🌱 🌼

Open Volunteer Day at Redwood Roots Farm Cooperative!

When: Friday, June 26th 1-4pm
Where: at the farm - 45 Fellowship Way, Bayside
What: Open Volunteer Day - join us in the field for an afternoon volunteering at the farm and take home some veg and flowers. No experience necessary. Tasks vary and will include sitting on the ground for long periods of time.

What to bring: water, close-toed shoes, weather protection, a snack if needed, and a long sleeve shirt even if it’s hot (we have some pokey weeds and stinging nettle is about).

Only trained service animals are allowed at the farm.

Please park in the designated area of the Unitarian Fellowship parking lot and walk south down the driveway to the farm. A few accessible parking spots are at the farm itself if needed. Please note the ground is uneven at the farm and we will be sitting/kneeling on the ground for long periods of time.

We have all the tools and gloves you need!
