In traditional Eventing, riders are able to ride before their scheduled ride times if they are ready but it is not required. However, you *must* be ready to ride by your assigned time so don't miss out

We are finalizing details for our Mini Eventing Day, here is our cross country course map. Course will be available to walk if you wish Friday 5/29 after 4pm.
Jump descriptions:
1. Logs
2. Oxer spread
3. Brush
4. Roll top
5. Ditch
6. Bench/Box
7. Coops
8. Gates

This is an informal show so no time calculations! Riders are able to w/t/c on course as they desire, only penalties assigned are for refusals or knock downs.
Our leadline division will have their XC course in our front field!

Dressage will be judged by Tara Ziegler. We are also offering dressage only tests, and Combined Training divisions for those not yet ready to tackle Cross Country.

Our first Speed Games of the season is this Friday! I know we're expecting a little rain but that is why we are blessed to host in the indoor ring!

New this year: leadline division for the littles or anyone needing some support, and a poles course for Jumpers for those not ready for cross rails yet!

Horse Yoga Night coming up Saturday, May 16! Enjoy a gentle yoga session surrounded by some of our horses. All attendees will be given snacks to share with the horses during the session. Please RSVP to attend. No age limit to attend the class, all we ask is children do not disrupt the event (must be a paid attendee).

Upcoming events at MJ Farms!

New for this year is our Mini Eventing clinic, unrecognized and very beginner friendly event. No time requirements for XC, scores judged on knock downs and refusals for SJ and XC. Dressage judge Tara Ziegler is with us for the day. Western dressage and CT only options also available

Speed games on Friday night May 22, open to all ages and disciplines.

Self care field for lease

Approx 3 acre field, run in shelter, spring fed water trough. Field is a part of the 35+ acre farm, other amenities include indoor arena, outdoor ring, perimeter trail for hacking (or driving!) and cross country jumps. Cart/carriage drivers, we also have open fields, accessible by all.

Limited to max 3 horses. Horses have stalls for feeding/tacking/injury layup but this is field care only, no 12/12 stall board. You must supply hay but round bales can be stored and put out for you as needed.

We are an active facility. We teach lessons, run shows and host other events. If you are looking for a quiet barn with only 2 or 3 other people, this is not the place for you (unless you come on off hours in which case it's perfectly serene!). We have both child and adult riders if you are looking for a new barn group to join and socialize with, very friendly atmosphere.

Our home fun show is coming up April 26! If you haven't gotten your entries in, please do so before this Friday 4/24 so we have time to assign horses.

This show is open to all of our students, all ages, all skills. Never tried a horse show before? This is a great way to start and all proceeds go towards the lesson program, even just one class is a help to us! It's time to show off all the hard work you've put in, I hope you will join us!q
