If your water pump is kicking on and off frequently (short cycling), and you’re experiencing low water pressure, there could be several possible causes:
In this case the tank was Waterlogged or Failing Pressure Tank. If the air pressure in your pressure tank is too low or the bladder inside has failed, the pump may turn on and off rapidly. You’re more than welcome to give us a call. 📞 (352)288-5150

It’s true; critters like ants or even small lizards can sometimes make their way into the pressure switch box on a well pump, causing issues with the electrical connections. This can lead to problems like low water pressure or the pump not turning on at all. Checking the switch box first could save you time and potentially avoid an unnecessary service call. Make sure to turn off the power to the pump before inspecting the switch, and if you spot any insects or debris, clean them out carefully.
