🔥 Miami Legacy Son of an Itch 🔥

7 months old, growing like a bad w**d. Really excited about this guy.

Not stacked or set up — Just Stitchy in his natural habitat checking to see if any of the ladies are interested yet. 😆

So far only 1 of our Alpines have been bred (Anise). 4 more to go!

I’m so glad my friends and mentors encouraged me to jump into the show ring for my first time. We stay so busy with our herdshare program and have such a passion towards that and starting our DHI & milk testing — I truly didn’t think I’d ever have the desire or time to hit the show ring myself!

I took 2 of our milking Alpines today to Ashland County fair to dip my toes in the water for the first time (instead of making other people show our goats for me 🤣) and I think it’s safe to say I caught the “bug” and am looking forward to next show season. 🥰

We took:
•Addi Hill Lono Shyanne (2 Y/O 2F) 5th place 2 year old milker

•Addi Hill Arlington Lore (2 Y/O FF)
6th place 2 year old milker (She says sorry Uncle Ry for being an absolute stubborn brute in the ring for her first time…. She’s never been on the collar before until today, and Ry still braved the storm 😆. She says she will make it up to you in the spring 😆🤣)

I should have let them fill up much more than I did…. But that’s okay — You learn so much as you go! 🥰

Looking forward to next summer with our goat friends and getting some of our special girls out in the ring! Thank you Soph for taking care of me today for my first trip in the ring. I chose her even though she isn’t fully mature yet — she is so darn docile and easy to work with. She made my first trip enjoyable. So many beautiful Alpines & wonderful people to spend our day with.

Congratulations to everyone who showed today! What a competitive group of animals representing the breed.

Go Ohio! 🤩
