In the movie Idiocracy, a man wakes up 500 years in the future to find a country so thoroughly dumbed down it can barely function. The most popular thing on TV is a show called "Ow! My Balls!" The leader's a former pro wrestler who runs the government like a cage match. We're the laughingstock of the planet, with our enactment of the movie in real time.

The movie was meant to be a warning, not a documentary of us 500 years ahead of schedule.

A UFC cage is being assembled on the South Lawn of the White House. On June 14, the President will be hosting a mixed martial arts fight on the lawn, billed as part of the celebration of America's 250th birthday. 250 years of the American experiment, and the way they've chosen to celebrate it is a cage match staged where presidents have addressed the nation in wartime. Not an investment in our kids. Not a single new school, scholarship, or library. Just some lowbrow cage fight on the lawn. 🙄

Packaged up 8 pounds of deboned rabbit yesterday. I also noticed that I really need to reorganize the freezer... again. Its gotten ridiculous... again. 😅 It never ends.

Bit of reality that always should be pointed out, this is one of the reasons having a person who's job it is to do these things, is such a privilege for a household. Doing this stuff IS a privilege but its also a job. 🦋

For those wondering The Ankarsrum (my mixer) has accessories, just like the kitchen aid, except you turn it on its side to use some of them. When I was choosing a new mixer it really came down to 3 things...
1. I wanted the motor on the bottom.
2. No computer.
3. Not a one trick pony. = also a meat grinder. Or other options.
