Dan’s Smoked Salmon
From a very young age, Dannie Rasmussen found a passion for the art of producing great Smoked Salmon. Throughout the years, he would refine the versions of his recipe for Smoked Salmon. Friends would constantly ask him to smoke their salmon, and he did when he had time. As time went on, Dan’s Smoked Salmon just got better and better! Reviews for Dan’s Smoked Salmon seemed to always include: “This is the best smoked salmon I’ve ever had! It’s moist and flaky!”
In 2001, with the help of the CEO of Elite Food Service, Dannie began to sell his Smoked Salmon as a business and quickly gained the attention of the sporting goods giant Cabella’s. For two years, business soared and Dan’s Salmon was consistently rated best at Food Shows. Dan’s business grew exponentially and expanded to include gift baskets and a full line of mixed nuts. Soon they were in over 650 stores nationwide. Dannie took a break for several years and moved to Bend Oregon where he builds high end custom homes.
Dan and his wife Lanette live on 10 acres outside of beautiful Bend, Oregon. The old drive for delivering the perfect Smoked Salmon is back in a big way and Dannie built a new state-of-the art facility on his land and is ready to get going again. Providing you the best Smoked Salmon available anywhere is our first priority. We are focused on complete customer satisfaction.
