Yesterday we finished our Caribbean journey at the beautiful Clement Distillery on Martinique.

Whew! I learned so much about rum and the culture of these beautiful island countries during this very busy trip. Special thank you to Strongwater Beverage who makes these trips possible.

I’ll resume Wh***ey Wednesday next week.

Sunday we took an exhilarating ferry ride to the French territory of Martinique. Yesterday, we toured the stunning Rhum J.M. Distillery and sampled their unique agricole rums. We also got to learn a bit about Martinique’s history and enjoy our last full day in the Caribbean.

Yesterday we toured St. Lucia Distillery, home of Admiral’s, Chairman Reserve, and Bounty rums along with many other spirits. We learned so much from our gracious hosts! The island is as unique as their rums. Mountainous and more lush than Barbados. Now we are off to Martinique.

Yesterday, we had a lovely day on a catamaran, seeing more of beautiful Barbados. Naturally, enjoying Planteray rum! 🍹 We also traveled to a whole new country, St. Lucia, to continue our rum education.
