What’s in season this June? 🌱

We’ll continue harvesting lettuce, onions, and cilantro throughout the month, and we'll add fresh basil and our direct-seeded carrots into the mix!

As we head into July, our warm-weather crops - tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers - will start making their seasonal debut. 🍅🥒🌶️

Honey harvest season is also here! Keep an eye out for ATBF honey at the Elevation Farmers Market and Central Oregon Locavore this June and July. 🍯

And remember: when you see our sticker, you know your purchase supports food access in Central Oregon.

The growing season is in full swing at Around the Bend Farms! 🌱

Josh, our Lead Farm Manager, has been busy transplanting summer crops including tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, and basil, while continuing to harvest fresh cilantro, lettuce, and onions each week. In the propagation station, new seeds are always getting started to keep crops rotating through the fields and greenhouse all season long.

Come visit us at the Elevation Farmers Market tonight from 3–7 PM in the parking lot of the Bend Factory Stores (off S. Hwy 97 near Powers Rd)!

We’ll be there every Friday throughout the growing season with fresh, seasonal produce straight from the farm, along with local honey and Around the Bend Farms merchandise.

Stop by to say hello, stock up on local food, and support your community. Every purchase helps fund our food access programs. We can’t wait to see you there! 💚

We are endlessly grateful for the incredible volunteers who make Around the Bend Farms possible.

From planting and harvesting to washing produce, helping at events, and supporting our outreach efforts, your time, energy, and care help nourish both our farm and our community. Every hour volunteered contributes to a stronger local food system and helps us continue this work in a meaningful way.

🥕Hi CSA members! Wondering what you can expect in your CSA share? The season is just getting started, but once our CSA starts in June, you can look forward to fresh broccoli, squash, corn, tomatoes, snap peas, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, and zucchini! You can always add on honey, fresh herbs, and fruit to your box!
