Were you out there listening to The Doctor Gardiner Moulton Memorial German Band under the direction of Brian Nadeau ?
Amazingly talented group. I wish I could have relaxed in the biergarten listening to them all afternoon. Thank you for joining us for this year's Oktoberfest Brewer event.

A huge thank you to Cori Skall from i95. Her and her crew kept the music and the Oktoberfest vibe going inside and out. She ran the contests, the chicken dance, and was so great with the crowd. We can't thank you enough for providing this for Oktoberfest Brewer . It was great to hear your voice, listen to the festive music, and my favorite part was listening to your heckle the men's stein hoisting competition. I'm still laughing at the subtle, yet not so subtle humor.

Thank you to all of our crafters and artists. While it was a gorgeous day, I recognized the struggle to set up with the wind. You were all amazing, and I wish I had more time to get out and check out everything you had. Clarko said he went to check out some of you when he had a minute, and he was so impressed! He was telling me some of the items on his wish list, so I will be reaching out sometime when I get a minute.

Did you see Brian Oyster carving at Oktoberfest Brewer yesterday? Wow, just wow! I went out and saw him carving a pumpkin, and the detail and skill was just amazing! I went back out to see the finished pumpkin, and BOTH pumpkins were sold already!
I can't wait to see the carving of our logo he was working on.
If you saw a piece you'd like, or have a custom piece you want him to carve, reach out to him. He really impressed so many people yesterday. We had several people tell us how awesome that was to watch.

What a great Oktoberfest Brewer day at Benjamin's Brewer !
The weather was great, we had some realltly great vendors (I need to reach out to all of the vendors-so many REALLY COOL items we saw, and we need!), and the community support was outstanding!
I need to thank so many people. This post is about the of Brewer.
Jenn Morin , the mayor of Brewer, not only did the ceremonial pouring of the first pint, but she got right in there, bussing tables, washing glasses, and was a HUGE help! It's not often you get city officials to take time out of their busy weekends to stop by. The city of Brewer is different, though. We had several councilors, people running for city council, Brewer Culture and Arts Committee members, and many community members. What great support the city has!
