A staple at our markets has always been the presence of local law enforcement. Whether it is at 7am patrolling the area around our setup or walking the market and saying hi, the officers at our markets have been a pleasant presence wherever we are. This year we wanted to show our appreciation for that. This week is National Police Week and we would like to cap it off the only way we know how, with COOKIES! If you are active or retired law enforcement we invite you to either our Kenosha HarborMarket or Oak Creek Farmers Market locations for a complimentary big cookie. We appreciate all that you do. Our special guest has probably been seen by everyone already. But we wanted to highlight what an awesome friend Lorna Bacle is! Not only did she step in at our Kenosha HarborMarket booth so we could be there for Audra’s commencement ceremony, but she did so on HER BIRTHDAY! So if you haven’t already stopped by head over there now to wish one of the best people a very Happy Birthday🥳 and if you don’t already you should go looking for a friend like her. They are worth their weight in gold and then some. Thank you Lorna!!!

She did it! If you have been coming to the table since we started, your first treats were probably handed to you by Miss Audra Grace. The past few years she has been away getting an edumacation. And today, the past few years bared its fruit with Audra earning her Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law! 👩🏼‍🎓We could not be more proud of her. The self-discipline, faith, and hope taken to get here cannot be more celebrated. Congratulations AUDRA!
That said, the family will have to miss being at the farm table for tomorrow’s market. But do not worry, we have a SPECIAL GUEST running the booth. Stop by and say hi. You might know her😉
