Haven't posted in a while but I thought this was worth sharing. Here is a picture of our new calf nursing from her mother and a picture of her father. By the way, she was born last Friday, the 13th. I have no choice but to name her 'Omen'.

We have a bull calf for sale! This is a pure breed belted Galloway 2yr old bull. He is not registered, however both of his parents are, so he can be but that does coast extra. (And let's face it, I hate paperwork) Parents are Sunnybrook mack and moxie. Both are from championship breeding lines. This young bull is beginning to get s*xualy active so I need to sell him in the next few weeks or I will have to make him into a steer. $2000 unregistered, additional $500 for me to register. Cows waiting for me for hay yesterday. They follow my tractor around like baby ducks. The 2 steers pictured are going in to be butchered late spring. Whole and half available. They should be about 800lbs by then. One is already spoken for. More May be available in the fall.

Daniel Brawn has been working like crazy to get ready for Republic pumpkin daze. He is especially proud of his Space Invaders board. I cant wait to see how cool the rolling pins he is working on come out. Come see us there the first weekend in October!

Its that time of year again! We have been harvesting and packaging honey. I have 24oz bottles for $12 and we are trying out some packaged comb. That is by the once so there are different prices depending on weight. Since the hive I took it from didnt make it very uniform, I couldn't thinknof a more consistent way to do it. Hopefully when we start harvesting from out Cathedral hives this wont bw a problem. I am probably going to making some infused/flavored honey as well. The lavendar did well last year but the vanilla wasnt as popular. Post below what flavors you would be interested in and if I get enough votes for certain flavors, I may try those! Also, I havent decided if I will be making creamed honey this year so vote if you are interested in that!

I have 18 Indian runner ducklings that where hatched on 5-23. They are $8 each or 3 for $20.
I also have over 30 that are just over a month old. They are able to be kept outside without a heat light but are not old enough yet to reliably s*x. $10 each for those. Text or call 417-551-3710

Finished south side of the roof. Waiting for wind to die down so I get started on the other side. In the meantime, tomorrow is the Fordland swap meet and I will be there selling ducklings.
