From our wood shop:

I just got accepted as a vendor at the Marshfield homestead expo. We will be selling the top-bar beehives that I make! I'm keeping myself pretty busy this month building up extra hives. Maybe find time while we are there to sneak out from the booth and listen to some seminars.

We currently have a bunch of Silver Appleyard ducks that were hatched out in March available. They have almost got thier adult colors in. They are a docile, flightless, dual-purpose (meat and eggs), mallard-type duck. They are great egg layers and very pretty wandering around the yard. Good pest control too! Hens are $20 and drakes $10. Message me if you are interested. We also have 2 beige and white runner duck drakes for $10/ea. These are our adults pictured below.

Haven't posted in a while but I thought this was worth sharing. Here is a picture of our new calf nursing from her mother and a picture of her father. By the way, she was born last Friday, the 13th. I have no choice but to name her 'Omen'.
