Had to call in reinforcements today because apparently I’m not allowed to have nice, level pens without a little manual labor.

Pens are officially level… JUST in time for the rain.

Because nothing says “great timing” quite like finishing a whole bunch of hard work and then watching Mother Nature pull up like, “Oh, y’all fixed it? Let me test that real quick.” 🌧️🚜

I am officially getting 0 eggs a day from the F1-S pen. 🥚🚫

A whole bunch of free loaders, they are!!! Guess they’ve decided their current job description is simply eat, molt, 💩, and just exist.🪶🤪

Mark those calendars, y’all! If you’re wanting chicks from me this year, October 10th is the LAST day I’ll be loading up the incubator with my eggs for the year.🗓️🐣

Any eggs after October 10th will either be eaten or headed to an incubator elsewhere but they won’t be hatching here!

So if you’ve been thinking about adding some of my babies to your flock, don’t wait until it’s too late! Thank y’all for supporting my little farm and my breeding program! ❤️🐓🥚
