Ross Ranch Horns is a small ranch owned by Will Ross and is located in the piney woods of East Texas, just South of Tyler. Before full herd dispersal in 2018, RRH owned Registered Watusi Cattle, Registered Texas Longhorn Cattle, and sometimes other Exotic Cattle. I take pride in breeding Longhorns that look like Longhorns and breeding Watusi that look like Watusi. I also enjoy helping other people

get started with cattle, find what they're looking for, answer questions, discuss strategies, select feed/mineral, anything to help - regardless of self benefit. New Calf Alert! Finally! My hairy Highland cow Wynonna Judd finally had a bull calf! The calf is half Watusi and half Highland (just like last year’s heifer). After years of waiting and getting heifer calves finally I’ll have a hairy h***y steer! Gonna be really cool looking when he grows up.

First we see him wondering around in the yard away from his momma, then we see him with his head stuck between a gate and a hard place! Glad we saw him when we did. Turns out Dawn dish soap is good for ducks AND mischievous calves 🤦🏼‍♂️ (he’s good now)

Watusi Wednesday! I posted a skull months ago and talked about how I hated to lose a tremendous cow. C**n Creek Mataki Blaze was easily my top 3 favorite cows of all time. This is her son that will have his first breeding season this summer. Pace Setter is growing nicely and he behaves well. Excited to see what he produces!

Watusi Wednesday and new calf alert! Gotta love it when a heifer has her first calf and Red Hill Malibu Princess has done great with it. And a heifer baby is always a plus! Now if we can get this Longhorn calf to quit asking why her new buddy is so much smaller than her.
