We had the privilege of seeing Walker doing what he loves most this past weekend in Beaverton, MI, at Little Cedar Cattle Co. headquarters for the Great Shorthorn Revival sale. Our deepest gratitude to Steve and Julie French for welcoming Walker into your program over the last four years as part of the Armstrong Farms team. The opportunities and mentorship you’ve given him while helping prep for this sale have been invaluable. We still laugh thinking back three years ago when Walker purchased his first heifer at this very sale—not long after graduating high school. As parents, we were more than a little surprised by the investment he made that day… and then again the next year. But we trusted his vision, and this weekend he showed us exactly what that vision was all about. As a first-time consigner, he did exceptionally well, and we could not be prouder of what he has produced. To Steve and Julie—thank you again for your outstanding hospitality and for creating such a remarkable event for consignors, buyers, friends, and family alike. We 100% felt part of the family and “all in this together” It was an absolute honor to witness our firstborn step confidently into his passion and experience success doing what he loves. As always, thank you to the team at Armstrong Farms for supporting and encouraging Walker and offering him these amazing opportunities. Finally, thank you to everyone who introduced themselves and shared such kind words about Walker. We’ve always known he was a pretty good kid—but it means the world to hear that he’s becoming an even better adult.
