We've been whipping it up on the farm. Today's mission is to prep for the winter and plant for the summer! The house smells like dehydrating garlic and onions. Later today it'll be parsley and oregano. Now that's a flavor combination I can live with!

Dinner is going to be delicious. I used our own herbs, onions, garlic, and potatoes, for this meal. I love to cook and it is more enjoyable when you can get herbs from the garden and include your own vegetables. I'm not going to lie, I'm already preparing for next year's produce and herbs I can add into the garden.

We're here on the farm, still going , and still growing. We love this system, however we recognize where changes need to be made. Also, the three weeks without water can create some setbacks. Another year and another learning experience, but Thank God we got in a few potatoes!

My girls love to give and receive love. I'm so thankful to have found this breed! The Katahdin Hair sheep are known for their excellent mothering abilities, parasite resistance, and their ability to shed their wool.

We're praying to get a ram over the winter so we'll have some lambs come spring. I really do miss those adorable lamb races!

There have been moments where we didn't know if we'd make it, with the pandemic, health problems, and family emergencies. But, throughout our own hardships we've done our best to keep everyone informed and kept moving forward.☺️🎉

Just over here looking at these Collard greens, just thinking about the Holidays coming up, and imagining all the amazing recipes that can be prepared. The absolute benefits from this vegetable is mind blowing, who knew something so delicious could be so good!
We love slow cooking our greens with hocks, onions, broth, and seasoning.
