Oops, I missed World Refill Day yesterday! Good thing every day is refill day here…in fact, we’ve been filling your containers with various bits & bobs for nearly SEVEN years now. Many of you have been with us since the beginning, but if you’re new to the Pantry, you should know that refilling is at the very heart of what we do here. Yes, we have a bangin’ snack selection and fun gifts and are slowly expanding our offerings to be more of a one-stop grocery shop. But for the first few years, bulk pantry staples and body care were the crux of our offerings. Swipe to see some realllll throwback photos (old logo, different layouts, past shop neighbors and all).
I’ve never done an analysis of containers saved over time (mostly because I’m making sure the day-to-day is taken care of) but I can tell you that the number would be a LOT. So many, in fact, that you’ve really honed my refilling skills. Regular mouth, wide mouth, plastic, glass, aluminum, screw top, weck—we’ve refilled them all, and are endlessly grateful that you care enough about this planet and the life on it that you lug your containers here, over and over again. May we keep doing it for many years to come 🫶
