Here at WarAngel Farms, we are so thankful and blessed to be able to open the farm up to animals in need, along with our current rescues! While some animals might end up in sanctuary, we rescue and rehabilitate the animals we can, and adopt them out to approved forever homes! An animal we rescue is always welcome back here, no questions asked. While we do take in farm anim

als, we specialize in horses and donkeys from the slaughter pipeline. Particularly we focus on unhandled young horses in the slaughter pipeline. We are blessed to be a blessing to these animals and to everyone who joins the farm family! We want our farm to be a place that animals and people come to remember God's goodness and promises. And as always, prayers over the animals and farm are always greatly appreciated. Psalm 50:10-11 “For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.”

Will we face trials? But God says in James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Everything you go through will mold you into who God has created you to be for His glory! I believe God will carry us through any and all trials a rescue can bring, to bring God glory, and to be a blessing to His creation. Mission statement: our mission is to be good stewards of Gods animals here on earth. To rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for the animals that come into our care. We want to bring hope to the animals that have no hope, and to help those who have gone through unprecedented situations and need to surrender their companion.

Calling all Colorado friends!! 🏔️ We are so honored and excited to be a part of the Winter Park Film Festival this year. 🎥Check out their website for dates and times! Our film will be playing twice (two different days) along with some other amazing films. Lots of nature, outdoor, and other horse films too! There will be film panels, Q and As and more. It’s sure to be a great time 😊🐴

Today we went to the wild horse and b***o adoption event in Gainesville! We have been coming to this event for 20 years. But today we live in a different world where the mustangs don’t hold the same honor they had before. They are a part of the west, our nations history, a symbol of freedom. Our first mustangs, Dreamer and DC were rounded up in Powder Rim Wyoming. We had Dreamer for 20 years (we had to put her down two years ago) and her son DC is now 21. They are wonderful horses who spent many years in camps and trail rides! We also have Kahlua and Toretto from the Wind River Reservation. And Ponyboy and Sundance from an unnamed reservation. Mustangs make great horses but they are a commitment to train! Now they are only $125 dollars per horse, however with that brings in many types of people, not all with the best interest at heart. While mustangs can’t directly go to slaughter from the BLM, they can surely be adopted at these events and flipped for meat price. We did see a few people purchasing multiple. And let me tell you that’s a commitment so I only hope they all had the best interests for the horses. However we did meet some wonderful people who are going to train their new horse for all different disciplines! Which is great! If you have the means and experience, definitely do it once in life! You’ll have a forever partner! 🐴❤️

Meet Bob and Rita! They are the newest members of WarAngel Farms. 🐐They were very loved by their previous owners, but due to some health concerns they knew it was time to find them a forever home. They are super sweet and getting to know all their new buddies!! ❤️
