Yellow AHCA registered bull calf up for discussion. We have had him since he was a few weeks old (we also have his momma.) Parents and in last pics. Papers are in pictures. Our plan was to keep him and use him because he is put together nicely, but we have too many cows with his bloodlines to keep him for ourselves. Message me for more information!

I hate that it is getting dark so early! By time I get home and go check animals, it looks like it’s midnight out. I took these 2 pictures, decided I was going to ride Lenny for a bit. I went in the house to grab his tack and brushes, opened the door to walk back outside and it was already dark. So he got a good groom session. But No riding took place tonight. 🥺 I really dislike fall-early spring! I NEED it to stay daylight until at least 9:30pm every night!
P.S I also don’t like being cold! 😫

Tagalong just had her baby! We should be done for a while. (I think) This one I have been watching for what seems like forever! Momma didn’t have a name and we have had her for 2 years! We had 2 heifers that looked identical when we got them so we just called them one and two.. The past 2 weeks this one has been overly affectionate and following us every time we went to check cows so I started calling her Tagalong. Well the name stuck. Now to find out what her baby is!

It has been an EVENTFUL day around here! 😂

First thing this morning, we loaded up this cow/calf pair and sent them off to their new home. Unfortunately, that new home didn’t quite work out. Their fencing wasn’t what they were used to and they walked right through it 🤦🏻‍♀️ So after some catching, wrangling, and getting them loaded back onto our trailer, they made the trip right back home.

I missed all the delivery and wrangling action because I was at the house with Becky from Toby Way Farm, learning how to can meats and giving her a farm tour! ❤️

Once the hubby and oldest son got home, 5 hours later, we got Dos and her baby back out in the pasture. And of course, they settled right back in like they hadn’t just had the craziest adventure of their lives today. 😂

Now I’m sitting in a tree waiting on “the big one” to walk in… and honestly, after the day we’ve had, I’m just enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. 🦌

Life on the farm… never a dull moment! ❤️

Little Shelby is doing amazing for how tiny she is! She sure has a lot of s***k! Which is totally a good thing! Her momma is getting the hang of being a 1st time momma also. She’s more attentive than she was the first couple days. I was a little worried with how tiny she is and how the weather has turned so crappy! But she’s holding her own and playing with the big kids like she’s the boss around here!
