✨ WHERE THE SOUL LEARNS SURRENDER ✨
For years, I found myself trapped in cycles of rejection, shame, fear, striving, and confusion. What began as wounds in childhood followed me into friendships, relationships, church experiences, ministry, and even the way I viewed myself.
I spent years trying to understand why I felt stuck.
Why old pain seemed to resurface.
Why I would find myself returning to the same fears, the same thought patterns, and the same questions.
But through Christ, I began learning that healing is not found in pretending wounds don't exist.
It is found in surrender.
In allowing Jesus to enter the hidden places of the heart and heal the roots beneath the surface.
This spoken word is a reflection on that journey.
A journey of renewing the mind, laying down old burdens, confronting the lies that keep us bound, and returning to the Rock when the past echoes through the heart.
If you've ever wrestled with rejection, shame, fear, soul wounds, or the feeling that you're starting over again, I pray this encourages you.
Because Jesus did not come to simply improve the old creation.
He came to make all things new.
