Delight Flower Farm Delight Flower Farm is a sustainable, woman-owned flower farm in Central Illinois. True to our roots, we still offer 10 or 15 week-long cut flower CSA shares.

We’ve also added shorter spring and fall CSA shares, as well as an annual wreath CSA. We've expanded our offerings to include a la carte wedding flower supply and design, as well as custom subscriptions for businesses and restaurants. During the season, our flowers can be found at local shops and farmer's markets. We also grow edible flowers, CBD hemp, medicinal herbs, and sell evergreen wreaths in winter. Finally, in keeping with our long-term vision for the farm, we teach a variety of workshops on environmental sustainability, floral design, and self-care practices throughout the year. Year after year there is one tulip variety that never ceases to amaze. With its vibrant and lush double petal blooms, the Columbus tulip stands out in a mid-April landscape. Its lotus-like appearance changes from round buds to fluffy, fully opened blooms that give the garden weeks of color. Not to mention the long vase life they have when used in arrangements.

After a dreary, cold winter these cheerful flowers lift the spirit and pair beautifully with other spring flowers like the Tahiti daffodil. If you are overwhelmed with the varieties of bulbs to choose from, be it big box stores or online, consider giving the Columbus tulips a try this year!

It’s fair to say I fell in love with these Camassia leichtlinii (aka Giant Camas) this spring. These perennials are native to most of North America and come back year after year.

They grow in full sun, but can handle some shade. Need a spot that gets lots of water. I love their star shaped blooms and their delicate centers. I found them quite complementary and mixed bouquets as well as on their own on my kitchen counter. Plant now and enjoy these flowers in spring. These are for sale right now to pre-order for our Fall Bulb Sale!
