Well this weekend was….HOT. Didn’t get our all packed up picture like usual because we were dying in the heat. Did ok at the Trillium BBQ Throwdown. Chicken we knew was going to be our tough one when we took a bite but that’s ok.

Chicken 25
Ribs 24
Pork 5
Brisket 16
Overall 23rd.

Was probably the best brisket and ribs we’ve done, but the judges didn’t think so. On to the next one!

🔥 Next Stop: Rhode Island State Championship! 🔥

The countdown is on! Half Inked BBQ is headed to the Rhode Island State Championship at the Barbecue Alliance event on July 25–26, and we couldn't be more excited to get back on the competition trail.

We'll be rolling in with our trusted Humphrey's Smokers, fueled by The Good Charcoal lump charcoal, ready to put in the work and cook the best barbecue we can. We're looking forward to a weekend filled with great food, great people, and some outstanding competition.

Nothing says Independence Day like the smell of wood smoke, great food, and time spent with family and friends.

Today we've got the Humphrey's Battle Box and Hot Box fired up, fueled by nothing but The Good Charcoal premium lump charcoal. It's going to be a day full of low-and-slow BBQ, cold drinks, and celebrating the red, white, and blue.
