Selling cull cows is part of our income every year. Here's some good info to read about seasonal price changes, etc.

We love what our Limousin females produce every year. We're proud of what they do for our seedstock operation, and the cattle our commercial bull and female buyers take home from our sales.

The Limousin female brings balance to every cowherd, combining calving ease, docility, moderate mature size, and superior stayability with the muscle and maternal strength Limousin is known for. She is built to thrive, breed back, and remain productive year after year, raising calves that grow, perform, and add value to the bottom line.

The Maternal Edge starts with a Limousin female.

If you're questioning if supplementation is worth it ...

"Taken together, available research suggests that a modest amount of protein supplement combined with an ionophore can improve forage utilization, increase average daily gain by approximately one-half pound per day, and enhance reproductive preparedness in both developing heifers and mature cows. Few nutritional technologies have demonstrated such consistent benefits across a wide range of forage-based production systems."
