This small family farm uses organic methods and welcomes the public during open hours. open Weds. mornings and by appt. all year, and Weds Sat.

and Sun. 10-6 in the summer for tours and agricultural activities for all ages. Classes, community gardens, heritage breeding stock, Pygmy goats, pigs, rare ducks, and more.

fyi, our land line has been out since the snow in the end of Feb, and it just got fixed by the skillful and friendly Anthony, thank you! we couldn't get messages either, so if you want to, call back!

We have plowed and shoveled out 10 poultry pens, 5 goat pens, and 1 pig. We are sore and tired but weathered the storm well, mostly because we knew it was coming. We had time to get generator fuel, split extra wood, and stock up on hay. Without accurate weather reporting, we would have been in trouble. Sunday evening was calm with just a few flakes beginning to fall. By dawn, it was already impassable.

A Community Grief Ritual on November 15th, 12–5 PM at Native Earth Teaching Farm, Chilmark Martha’s Vineyard

As Autumn releases its final breath and the trees surrender their leaves to the wind, we too are invited to lay down what weighs heavy on our hearts. Dancing With The Falling Leaves is a Community Grief Ritual, a sacred gathering to tend to the many forms of grief we carry: Personal Loss, Ancestral Sorrow, Collective Pain and the quiet ache of inevitable Change🍂

Together we will honor grief as The Sacred. Remembering that mourning is not a burden but a passage. One that softens us, connects us and opens us to life’s and Natures deeper rhythms. Through guided ritual, movement, song, and shared reflection, we will move with the wisdom of the season. Watch as the Trees show up the ultimate practice of letting go, grounding, and remembering that even in decay, there is beauty and rebirth.

🍁Held on the nurturing land of Native Earth Teaching Farm, facilitated by Rebecca Gilbert Kathleen Rouleau and Marcia Conlon. This afternoon experience offers a gentle container for Remembrance, Release and Renewal. Bring your stories, your tears, your prayers and your willingness to be held by Community and Nature alike.

What to Expect:
🌍💨🔥💦 Facilitators will navigate Participants through the Natural 5 Elements Earth Air Fire Water and Spirit with the addition of The Upper World, Lower World and Inner World
✨ Sharing and Active Listening
🌿 Communal Altar creation and offerings
🌀 Guided Movement and Ritual for release
🍂 Closing song and Shared Gratitude

Come as you are, with whatever Grief or tenderness you hold and carry. Together, we will dance with the leaves and find grace in letting go.

As the seasons change, so does our schedule. Only 2 more goat yoga sessions remain, and we'll be closed Saturday Sept. 6 (I recommend going to the Pow Wow in Aquinnah.)
