The black raspberries are now starting to turn red and a handful have turned black. Hopefully next week they will be ready for sale.

Sorry I've been m.i.a for a bit. It was hard losing Smoky. Plus the heat wave we've had. I'm back now.

These pictures of Smoky were taken this past Wednesday. Made the call to a vet in Winsor to have her put down on Thursday. She hadn't been doing well for a few months. Her back legs were wobbly therefore she had a hard time using the litter box. She gave up using it and messed all over the floor. Smoky couldn't clean herself for the past few weeks and became incontinent and smelled bad. It was the worst thing I had to do. I was with her during the whole process at the vet. I really hated that I had to play God and end her life. She was just stubborn and hanging on. She was 16 yrs old and was such a good girl.

We buried her today.
