A nice morning at Depot Street Farmers Market. Thanks to everyone that comes out and supports all the vendors.

Afterwards I came home and work had begun on a big game changer for us. In a couple of weeks we should have water access across the entire farm.

This not only will save a ton of time and headaches, but it will also open up much more space to graze.

We used one of our leg of lamb today to make Greek Kleftiko we used some Walking Free Farm Romanian Red garlic along with some potatoes and tomatoes picked up from the Depot Street Farmers Market. Cooked it all up in a Dutch Oven and man was it delicious. Recipie in the comments.

Today was the best sales day Sunfall Farm has had Depot Street Farmers Market

I can tell you I had several new customers today. I can also tell you than more than a couple mentioned to me that current moves made in DC around the safety of their food led them there.

I certainly appreciate the folks and businesses that have supported us in our first year there. That doesn't just mean buying from us, but so many have shared a post, helped put a t-post in the ground, come to my rescue when my truck was down for a bit to haul a trailer, helped work sheep, and numerous other bits of support.

As we watch our farms disappear underneath subdivisions, I'm so grateful for the opportunity that I have and the blessing to be the third generation on this farm and to play a small role in providing real food for his family, friends, and community.
