I am sure you have all seen the news that earlier this year China rejected a 22-ton shipment of Argentine beef after testing detected a prohibited antibiotic.

As far as I can research (which who the heck knows if we have access to real information online or not) there is no evidence that this exact shipment is going to end up in the U.S.

However, this situation is a good reminder of why knowing where your beef comes from really matters.

Buying local and farm direct means you can actually know the source, the farmer, how the cattle were raised, and the processor ... rather than trusting a long international supply chain.

These are all locally born raised and finished with in ten miles of Cody Wyoming

They are all grass fed and green grass finished

They will only be sold by the quarter, half, or whole cut to your order

We will not sell it by the piece

🚩I will not sell the ground beef separately 🚩

This will be $7 a pound and cut for you. Total. I pay all the processing and deliver to your door with in 100 miles 🚚

Weights are approx

Whole carcass weight 900 +-

Half 450-500 approx

Quarter 225-250 approx

You pick the cuts and I take care of the rest

The water well on the range land burnt so we had the joy of pulling the well pump today. It was a cool 100 degrees and no breeze. The kids had fun finding scorpions. Farm kids are not sissys lol.
