My first chicken harvest of 2026 will be this Friday, March 6, and the birds look great. They grew surprising well after the extreme cold snap we had four weeks ago. You can order online or just stop by The Farmers Market in Brazos County on Saturday morning.

No shipping available, but you can contact me to see if I'll be in your area and we can arrange something.

I'll be there, maybe not with bells on, but I'll be there.

Our regular customers already know that the is a Rain-or-Shine market, and we're going to prove it this weekend. The forecast wintry weather isn't expected until Saturday afternoon with the morning just (JUST) being cold and wet.

We will be OPEN Saturday morning, 8am until noon, in City of Bryan - Government Midtown Park.

That said, please remember that each individual vendor will decide what is best for them, so we do expect vendor attendance to be down from last Saturday.

You might contact your favorite vendor to check with them, but we do ask our amazing customers to brave the morning weather, support our vendors who will be there, and grab a some clean, locally raised meat, eggs, or other supplies before you hunker down for the bad weather.

We picked up the first chicks of 2026 yesterday. Christmas break over at the chicken ranch. These chicken nuggets will be ready in early March.

Time to move! The farmers markets that I've been a part of have been assembling in downtown Bryan for over ten years. We've been on an undeveloped area in north downtown, but we always knew that location was temporary. We'd need to move when the property was developed. Well temporary to the city of Bryan was over ten years.

Starting September 6, 2025, look for me on Saturday mornings at Midtown Park!
