Contest Submission Deadline Approaching!

The submission deadline for the photography, magazine ad, and videography contests is June 10! NALJA will run a People’s Choice contest on Facebook during the week of NJLSC; Sunday, July 5 - Wednesday, July 8, at noon. You can only participate in these contests if you pre-registered by the May 15th deadline. 🎸⚡️

Today is show day! Good luck to all of our exhibitors! Here is Saturday’s schedule:

9:00- Jr Nationals Planning Meeting
11:00- Bred and Owned Female Show & Bred and Owned Bull Show
12:00- Lunch at the Barn
1:30- Showmanship Contest
3:30- Sales Talk/ as soon as showmanship is over.
4:30- Quiz Bowl/ Public Speaking practice
5:30- TJLA officer meeting- Fair Hall
6:00- Membership meeting- Fair Hall
7:00- Dinner and Awards Banquet/ kickball tournament following!

Here are some reminders if you are coming to Texas Junior Limousin Field Day:

* Send in your photo and magazine ads to [email protected]

* Bring your sold raffle tickets. We will draw at the banquet. Whoever sells the most wins a cash prize!!$

* Bring your own bedding. Cedar fiber and Pine shavings but
No straw.

* Generators are welcome

* We will have a silent auction if you would like to bring an item

* Sullivans will have a supply trailer there

* Pool Party on Friday night at Hilton Garden Inn and after the banquet on Saturday there will be a water slide kickball game. Bring a towel!

Proud of our Texas kids!

We're happy to begin announcing our 2026 NALJA Board of Directors candidates! First up is Kason Kiser from Lufkin, Texas!

"My first 2 years as a NALJA Director have been very rewarding. When I initially applied to be a NALJA Director, it was because I had been so welcomed and encouraged by the NALJA Directors at my first NJLSC in Amarillo, TX. Had it not been for them, I probably wouldn’t have gotten involved with as many contests and activities or made the friends I did that week. I wanted to be a NALJA Director so I could be that same role model and inspiration to other NALJA members! The last 2 yrs doing just that as a NALJA Director have been very rewarding, with the bonus of making awesome friendships across the country. The connections made and conversations had with breeders while attending NALJA/NALF events have been invaluable to someone like me who is embarking on this journey with maybe less experience than some others."
