Vibes are really, really important y’all 🌱🌸✨

We actually talk about vibes pretty frequently here…for us, that means paying attending to subtle changes in your crop. Catching problems bf they begin to unravel. Being mindful. Paying attention. And of course everything feels better with a little dopamine and dancing !

Lots of Mums have been leaving the farm to head off to their new garden plots. Each order comes with a Care Card that will link to our Mum Growing Guide . Give that guide a good read and reference it throughout the growing season. We are constantly updating this guide as we discover new ways of growing this beautiful Fall flower.

Also, EXCITING NEWS…we are now listing Ready To Ship each THURSDAY at NOON !! This will usually list some of our most sold out varieties (Annie Girl is available this week )! Place your order on Thursday-Monday at 8am and receive your plants by Friday 🌱

🌸 We had the pleasure of doing an interview with for their The Farmer and The Florist series. Steve gets down and dirty and answers many of the questions y’all might have about our little farm. I’ll admit, I cried a bit (kinda a lot). It’s the first time I’ve seen so much of our last 15 years written down in one place. 🌸 This is the last week to ORDER HELLEBORE PLANTS !! We are nearly sold out but as of this morning, we still have a handful of excellent varieties !

🌸 We now have READY TO SHIP Mum cuttings ! These will be listed every Friday to ship the following Wednesday. This will likely include many of our sold out varieties, so you get a 2nd chance if you missed yer faves!

Spring is flying by over here but our spirits are high and each day brings more excitement as we fill your orders.

We still have ice on the ground from the weekend and 3” of snow expected this weekend ! Not to worry though, our spirit here are high . My gold ice skates have been ordered and I’m currently searching for some snow skis . I will live out my dreams of the apres ski life style one way or another. Join our Team !!! We are currently looking for a kind, hardworking person to oversee our Studio Lead position.
Our dearest Kali is moving on after 3 years of gracing us with her hard work and fun loving self 💖

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and pays extreme attention to detail while hustling to get orders out the door by a daily deadline . It’s fast paced and requires a level head and excellent time management. Management experience is required. Experience in a fast paced, deadline oriented, service, or retail environment is a big plus.
We are a small but mighty team ! Being a thoughtful, team player is a must.

This is not a floral design job. This is not a field hand job. This is not a desk job. This job is about working individually and with a team to create and ship bundles of flowers.
This is a seasonal job mid Feb-mid May . 40 hours a week (no weekend work 🙌)

Our minds are blown ! We’re all completely obsessed with these disbudded mums !!

In order to give more clarity and advice on our Mum Growing Guide, Sarah took on a small section in our tunnel to disbud. The result ? WE CANT GET ENOUGH !! We’re definitely doing more next year…even though we don’t feel comfortable shipping them at this time. But our local customers will really luck out !

Disbudding mums is relatively easy. In a few sentences, the process is to remove all but about 3 strong stems from the plant. You will then remove any side buds from those stems as soon as they begin to develop (they will be tiny buds at this point). What is left on the stem is the one main (terminal) bud. All the energy from the plant will then go into just these single buds. The result, massive flowers that we just want to pet and ooo and ahhh over .!

We will be adding step for this technique in more detail to our Growing Guide over the next month so be sure to check it out when we do. We will also be adding notes to all of our varieties as to which ones will work best for this technique….Shown here are a few: Mocha, Jefferson Park, Crimson Tide, and Kokka H. . Saffina, Nijin, Evan’s Dream, and Seaton’s Coffee will also work great w this technique.

We had an all hands on deck kinda day yesterday ✨

The big Mum tunnel takedown has begun ! We all jumped into action to get the harvest knocked out as high winds and cold temps moved in throughout the day. We were chilly but the flowers definitely warmed us up from the inside. We managed to get a lot of flowers in the cooler and will continue with more harvesting today ☀️

Rinne join in the fun to document the beauty. She has been documenting our farm from our very beginning…a total treasure as we barely took a pic ourselves for the first many years. So happy timing worked out perfectly for her to capture the day.

Our harvest is coming in earlier this year so not sure just how much we will have to offer for our annual Gratitude Bouquets so order up now . Mums last so long in your vase so yall have plenty of time to enjoy them !

We’re finishing out this year’s growing season with some of the most long lasting flowers that we grow, Heirloom Chrysanthemums !!

Over the next few weeks, we will be offering Fresh Cut Bundles of Mums for Delivery Nationwide . This is an excellent time to get flowers that will last a few weeks but also a time to start planning your mum garden for next year. We are already taking preorders for 2026 Mum Cuttings 🤗

Follow along on our IG Stories this month so you can start making your wishlist as we show you all the varieties we are offering. Literally all of the varieties we offer are Must Haves in our opinion. They’re unique and beautiful and all make excellent cut flowers .
