The Rigbys Concert at Turtle Run W**ery is seemingly ON for today, Sunday!! It's 6:00 AM when I type this. A little behind to set up and it looks like I'll get rained on while setting up. The band supposedly plays 1:30 to 5:30 but we'll allow for some drift time for the start. I'll go ahead and set up since there is a lot of set up and hope for the best, but I am planning on the concert today for the Rigbys!!!

Here are the five bonus tastings for today, all with an emphasis on our vineyard grapes. Three Chambourcin’s 2008, 2020 and 2021. Then there is one of the last of our vineyard’s traminette, the 2018 ( traminette really does not like herbicide drifts), and an older Simply White, which contains our vignoles in the blend. Saturday and Sunday at Turtle Run W**ery: Saturday, come taste and enjoy several older vintage w**es to compliment today's w**e list! It's rare for us to open an oldie that hasn't aged well.

Sunday: More than likely, concert with the Rigby's 1:30 to 5:30. The hurricane remnants are having a hard time breaking through north of the Tennessee border, great for us, not so great for our southern states, though we do need rain (just not on Sundays!)

If the remnants break through, older vintage w**es on Sunday too to compliment our current w**e list.

This Weekend at Turtle Run W**ery! Bonus Past Vintage W**e Tastings to compliment our current w**e list of 30 w**es Friday and Saturday for sure. Probably Sunday too, if I am wrong on the weather. I keep looking at the radar and I keep refreshing the forecast and right now the forecast says rain for The Rigbys concert, but to me, unless this storm moves a little west before heading north, I don't see us getting hit with much rain. I know, I'm on my own island, and I could be and probably am wrong, but that is what I see and I have been watching storms like these for many years. It looks like to me the center of the storm is going to hit land at Port St. Joe.

If we can have the concert, 1:30 to 5:30 Sunday, the Rigbys, a great Beatles tribute band.

Upcoming Turtle Run W**ery events. This Saturday (and an arm twist, Friday) bonus tastings of older vintages to compliment our current w**e list. Sunday, we welcome The Rigbys. Or we hope too. The forecast is looking dismal. If we have to cancel Sunday, we'll have the bonus tastings of older w**es too on Sunday. It's been a pretty popular concept!!

At yesterday's Turtle Run W**ery concert with FreQuency, Ronnie tried teaching me the cords of guitar playing before the next set. I'll stick to my "day job" and let the music pro's do their thing. Same with my video posts of mimicry or trying mimicry of the great Billy D Williams and his amazing C**t 45 commercials. Such swag.
But this was a lot of fun with Ronnie. Just loved it! It's fun trying something new and the joy of him trying to teach me about a guitar. Thanks for the picture. Pulled from Mary's post from FreQuency.
