☀️Shorter days mean we spend more time outside in the light of the sunrises and sunsets, reminding us what a privileged life we live.

🌾Once someone gave us the “ it’s not personal, it’s business “ talk, but how can that be when this place, this business is so much a part of our personal life? The farm is our home, the place we educate and play with our kids. The business is our connection to a huge part of our social network. Those connections are how we are able to find resources and services we otherwise wouldn’t have access to…it is the personal nature of our business that sets us apart and makes it worth all of the hardship.

We know many of you also turned your passions into livelihoods , so where is our place in this impersonal business world in which we have found ourselves?

🎁These boxes celebrate the beautiful relationships that we’ve made through the farm and will hopefully help support you through the end of the year hustle!

🎁The handmade and farm grown items are intended to make great gifts or to be your gift to yourself as you prepare for wintering! Boxes include spices, teas, soaps, fresh veggies and more!

Morning! We finally finished harvesting sweet potatoes on Saturday, just in time for yesterday’s deluge!

🍠Usually sweet potatoes are one of those crops we can count on to be low maintenance and harvest is easily done by hand on this scale…but the field position and weather extremes caused the soil to stay wet and become compacted so it took FOREVER to get them out, thankfully they didn’t rot, and we had the best helpers!

🙃To be fair some days the geese go rogue and end up in the house ( why was the door left open?), the sheep knock Emmy over to get extra treats, the chaos makes Arlo chase the roosters and the whole peace of the morning ends in honking, crying and barking…but at least we can try 😂

🍂Wow where did September go ?!!The Brick market may be over, but we still have a little bit of farm fun left for you before the season totally winds down!

🌲After years of dreaming about offering holiday goody boxes, we are finally pulling them together thanks to our talented friends who will all be contributing handmade items in addition to the last of the fresh veggies all through the holiday season! Details are on the homepage of our website!

🌾And don’t forget to register for our last 2 workshops of the season and then mark your calendars for our first ever end-of-season open house and barn craft sale! The farm is getting some glorious fall color so we hope to see you soon 💕
