Hi, I’m Kelly Riley! I’ve spent my life in the show arena, earning multiple championships in pole bending and barrel racing, including 2-time AAQHC Champion and top placings at the AQHA World Show and All American Quarter Horse Congress. I’m also an educator with over 30 years of experience and I love helping riders and their horses reach their full potential.
I’m excited to offer pole bending and barrel racing lessons at our private farm in Creston, Ohio—whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, I’ll share the tips, techniques, and experience that have helped me succeed in the arena.

🇺🇸Kicking off the weekend feeling good! This Rebels Classy (Toby) & Kelly ran 20.063 for 3rd/140 Open Poles & then took the Win in Futurity Barrels Friday with 16.054. Thanks to everyone for making this show possible! It’s appreciated. Always love seeing friends! 🎉🇺🇸👏

Barrels For Badges 2026 was finally our weekend! The boys both showed up! Too Slick To Quit (Jackson) & This Rebels Classy (Toby) were 2nd & 3rd in the NPBA Futurity (20.270 & 20.297) and 6th & 7th out of 125 on Saturday. Then Jackson & Brannon were 2nd with 20.100 on Sunday & the average. Thanks for a fantastic show!

Special Shout out to our nephew Caden Riley…he recently competed at the Ohio Junior High State Wrestling Championships and placed fourth in his 120 lb weight class. He finished his regular season with Wadsworth Middle School with a record of 39-2 with 35 pins. Impressive!👏We are very proud and happy for him!

Superstitions? Luck? Quirks… maybe you believe in them or you don’t. From don’t wear yellow, never put your hat on the bed, to finding a four-leaf clover or maybe having a lucky pair of socks or a SHIRT! Well, I must say for me… all of the above. BUT the shirt in 2025 is official – Congress CHAMPION and prior to that, his 19.982 at NPBA Finals! And why this is extra special, is because I honesty didn’t think that Crewzer Dan “Lyle with a Smile” was going to be able to compete two weeks ago at the AAQHC! Needless to say, we did everything we could to make it happen, and thanks to my husband Brannon, and a whole team of friends & family (you know who you are) WE DID IT! Amateur Select Pole Champion and I’m also quite proud of the 6th place in Senior Poles running a 20.486! Congrats to all of my friends that did so well this year too! And if you didn’t have the best of luck, never give up. Be proud! 😊

Waiting to post something special...DONE.
My favorite boy, Crewzer Dan aka "Lyle with a Smile" brought tears of joy, and shock, honestly as we ran a 19.982 on Sunday... to be 2nd in the 1D of of the NPBA National Pole Bending Association Finals, at Garwood Arena. Out of 5 runs, he had 4 clean, and in typical fashion, he ran faster each time. It was a wonderful event and we had a great time! Brannon did well on the 3 yr olds and it was wonderul to have his sister Shannon there competing too - and she brought home some hardware! Love spending time with our pole bending family and sharing special moments like this! Thanks to Shane & Bryan and the entire crew for putting on the Pole Finals!
