Making the best of what you have...

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Hale Farm & Village for their 2nd weekend of Harvest Festival. While the forecast kept changing, and certainly wasn't always the best weather, we still had a lovely time. There were still plenty of guests that had the opportunity to enjoy a wagon ride. The fall colors are really starting to pop. We will be back up at Hale Farm next Sunday, October 18th, as part of their final weekend of the festival. We hope you will join us there.

The past two days we were at Hale Farm & Village for the first weekend of Harvest Festival. Always a great time, and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Both Shire teams, Duncan & Annie and Desi & Sadie did a great job providing rides for so many wonderful people. Our big guy, Ringer, enjoyed all the attention in the pasture over at the village. We will be back at HFV next Sunday, for another day of wagon rides. Please come see all the fun things this event has to offer, and catch a ride with us.

This past Saturday, we were in Medina for their Fall Festival. This event ran in conjunction with their Farmer's Market, so to say things were crowded and busy would be an understatement. Our Shire team, Duncan and Annie were absolute troopers, and never hesitated to step off into the crowded streets and excessive traffic. If you noticed in the photos below, their ears are on Todd a lot, waiting for their next move. While there were many visitors that didnt want to wait, we still gave rides to over 500 people. That's hundreds of new people introduced to this amazing Shire breed. We hope those who visited had a wonderful time. A special 'Thank You' to our friend Mary Waickman for volunteering at the last minute to help us out. It was great day. We want to thank all the event sponsors that helped us be here.

We are looking forward to our first seasonal event tomorrow morning. We will be in Medina for their Fall Festival providing wagon rides. Rides will run 9am-2pm. There will a lot of other great activities happening as well. We hope to see many of you there.
