💕Happy Mother’s Day 💕

We hope you all find some time to relax and reset this weekend. We all know you deserve it!

I am so thankful for the 2 little souls who call me mom.

Zae is my prankster, always bringing me frogs and mud to make me go eww. She loves to hide and scare me or tickle me to make me laugh. I can always count on her for a snuggle or a giggle and her laugh is absolutely infectious.

Reed is my sweet gentle boy who appreciates the little things in life. Whenever we’re in the yard I can always count on hearing his little voice exclaim “MOM! I FOUND SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL LIKE YOU”. I cherish every tiny flower and garden rock he brings.

This weekend I’ll be spending time with my family soaking in these moments while they’re here. 💕

If you know Zae then you know how tough some days can be for her. Even through the meltdowns, the tantrums, and being unregulated, she always finds comfort in being out with the horses.

On the hard days, we’ll go out to the barn together to get grounded. As soon as she gets out here she calms down and starts her “routine”. First she picks up the grain buckets and gives everyone a snack. Next she’ll grab a brush and give them a groom. Finally she always cleans up and makes sure they have a nice neat space to exist.

It’s amazing to watch her go from a full blown breakdown to calm and laughing in just a few minutes once she’s around them 🥹
