Was very happy to be able to attend a luncheon sponsored by our local Chapter of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association. The topic was the Northwest Indiana Housing Market. The presentation was given by leadership of the Northwest Indiana Realtors Association. As a board member for the MBA I am pleased we can provide valuable housing info to our members and can be passed along to clients that are in the market for a home.

Attended a very informative luncheon with the Mortgage Bankers Association earlier today. We were able to hear from Habitat for Humanity which our Northwest chapter donates to. Also we had 3 mayors, Josh Huddleston(Hobart), Tom McDermott Jr( Hammond), and Jon Costas(Valpo). They touched on a variety of topics including Housing, Data centers, the Bears, Nipsco , homebuyers moving from Illinois to Indiana and others.

Had an opportunity to go to the Real Producers networking event with some of the mortgage team at Lighthouse this afternoon. Very nice event with some chances to talk , eat great food and a great view overlooking the lake !!

Attended the Northwest Indiana Realtors Association trade expo this morning with some of our mortgage team. Had an opportunity to network and meet with some friends and colleagues that I don’t get to see everyday! Really nice event.
