Lillian seems to be doing good!! 🩷🌷 Thank goodness! We had a real scare with her. You can see the pink patches in her hair that it was not sunburn lol.

Well… I wanted to make this post for all my friends who own goats. What I thought was sunburn yesterday actually turned to be a coccidia infection causing her to go anemic. She is now at the point of collapsing with low blood sugar and low oxygen. We treated her as quickly as possible. The next 24 hours should tell us if she’s going to make it or not. If you have goats, you know how quickly they go downhill if not treated. Keep a close eye on your goats! And if they appear to have sunburn- it’s probably not 😢
